Machine learning in web applications is a rapidly emerging and exciting new frontier in applied machine learning. In this session, I’ll cover a variety of use cases for machine learning in web applications, from client-side bot detection to predictive resource loading to medical diagnostics to enhanced site accessibility to creative coding. For each case study, I’ll motivate the role of machine learning on the web in affording new types of applications, discuss implementation details, such as libraries used and challenges faced, and highlight additional resources you can use to get started building similar types of machine learning-powered web applications. I’ll conclude by discussing the future of machine learning tools and exciting advances to expect in the years to come.
